So many ideas squeezed into one book and all very well illustrated and written. All patterns are in word format but the crochet patterns also include symbol crochet. All the basics from stitches to how-to are covered and even the beginner will find this book easy to follow. In the knitted section there is a beautiful blue tit bird, dove, butterflies, shells, fish, flowers, numerous leaves, fruits, caterpillar and slug, insects and mushrooms. For the crocheter there are eggs and nest, butterflies galore, fish, anemone and seaweed, flowers and leaves, fruits, vegetables with such a life like cob of corn, snails, ladybird, beetles and bugs, dragonfly, mushrooms and snowflakes. Useful additions for your freeform work as well. Wow and all in 128 pages.
