Begin with a review on tatting basic stitches, a five petal pendant, earrings with a drop pendant, matching earrings and bracelet that have the tatting worked over a padded core thread, tiny beads are added and this set is divine, fancy closures that uses the shoelace trick and a shank button or pearl is added to enable this item to be sewn to the garment. Continue with self closing mock rings node stitch and add a centre bead plus a few smaller beads and you create the atom, this would make a beautiful brooch. The belle pendant necklace uses 2 shuttles and is tatted in one continuous piece, then there are several pieces worked with black and variegated threads to create the stain glass look. Very impressive! Also a section on hiding ends including detailed colour pictures. Techniques in this book include rings, chains, joins, lock joins, working with beads, split rings, multiple shuttles, pearl tatting and node stitch. 28 pages.
