As crochet hooks are available in such a wide range of materials and sizes - some imperial, some metric, some who knows - all from different manufacturers, then it is no surprise that actual hook sizes are difficult to determine. This gauge is an invaluable aid when designing or to achieve more accurate tension or gauge in your crochet work by knowing the exact size of your hook - which may not be the indicated size.  Measures from 2.00mm to 19.00mm, with US, UK and metric scales.
