Webmaster's note: The main difference between this lamp and the more expensive ACCDAYLIGHTBATT is the battery. This lamp is powered by a sealed lead-acid battery which is heavier and takes much longer to fully charge. Additionally, lead-acid batteries should not regularly be discharged below 50% capacity to prevent premature failure. So if you only want an hour or 2 of light, and have time to recharge next day or overnight - then this lamp should be suitable. If however you require a fast recharge - then the other lamp would be more suitable.
