Learn a new craft or skill with Crochet Australia.  We are growing our range of lessons, so keep coming back to have a look.  Refreshments provided for all sessions.

Crochet for Beginners

Tuesdays 9.30 - 11.30am or 5.30 - 7.30pm.  You select 1 or 3 lesson course.  $25 per lesson.

1 lesson pack includes yarn and Lotus hook.  

The 3 lesson pack includes 2 different yarns, 2 patterns and a Clover Amour hook.

Can't make Tuesdays - call us to arrange a Saturday morning appointment.

Crochet Workshops

Every Tuesday 9.30 - 11.30am.

Come along to a combination of social crochet and learning new techniques and skills.  Bring your own pattern or crochet our project of the month - $5 per day plus pattern cost (some months free pattern). Bring your own yarn and hook or you can purchase some on the day.  Ask questions and get help with a project during these sessions.

Special workshops to learn new techniques will be offered occasionally as requested and the price will be set separately for that session.

Special workshop with Melissa M about recycling yarn - hints and tips regarding treatment, colour selection and mixing textures.  Learn also how to turn a large square into a cardi - great for spring weather.

October 2016 Entrelac Crochet

Take your Tunisian to the next level with entrelac crochet.  Learn the two techniques –entrelac in the round, and entrelac in rows- and choose a project.  Looks great in a blanket, cushion cover or bag.

Any with suitable hook (2 sizes larger than normal crochet) in at least 2 colours.

Take your corner 2 corner skills to the next level making a graphghan.  Learn the tips and techniques to read the graph, prepare your yarn and minimise endings.
