Beanies for Hospitals
Our young teenage granddaughter, Jessica, has been undergoing
treatment for leukaemia since early 2009 and during hospital visits we realized
there was a need in many cancer wards for beanies that would not only provide
necessary warmth but also provide a small sense of security for those
experiencing hair loss. The bright and colourful beanies are always
appreciated by the younger patients who seem to have astounding resilience
beyond their years. This page displays some of the beanies that our
customers have made and donated to various hospitals to help cancer and
leukaemia patients, especially children. You may send your
beanies directly to the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane by addressing them
to PO Box 99, HERSTON QLD 4029 or contact the children's hospital in your area.
If you would like your donated beanies to be displayed here, please send a
picture with your details.
