Crochet a Jug/Glass Cover Weekly Class Tuesdays 9.30am – 11.30am
Join our class to learn to crochet a beautiful traditional jug cover, and not just any jug cover, but one featuring an adorable 3D crocheted cream jug at the centre that makes it truly special.
The pattern has been written by Vicki Moodie and is worked in #20 crochet cotton thread, the finished cover measures approximately 25cm in diameter and is edged with glass jug beads for an elegant finishing touch. It’s a stunning piece of functional handmade craft that looks just as beautiful as it is practical.
As part of this class you’ll also learn to crochet a version of the cover sized to fit over drinking glasses or bowls – perfect for outdoor entertaining or keeping pesky bugs at bay!

Suitable for: Intermediate crocheters with some experience working with fine cotton thread
Material– #20 crochet cotton thread – approx 25g, 24 glass jug beads, 1.25mm crochet hook. Can be made in one colour or add a contrast colour for the jug and outer edging.

A bit about your teacher:
Lynda learnt to crochet when she was about 8 years old. She has owned Crochet Australia for over 12 years where she has been regularly leading crochet classes and clinics. Lynda has completed her Crochet Teaching Certificate with the Craft Yarn Council of America and teaches at the Crochet Teaching Course now run by the Crochet Guild of Australia.
