Crochet a Mochilla Purse Class Weekly Tuesdays 9.30am – 11.30am
Learn the mochilla crochet technique with the Hibiscus Charm Purse. The Hibiscus Charm purse can be made small to use as a coin purse or longer to hold a pair of glasses.
During the class Lynda you will also learn how to create your own design with the mochilla technique, and how to attach the purse frame.

During the first class Lynda will provide an overview of the construction of the purse, and we’ll begin the base of the purse using the mochilla technique. In the remaining 4 classes during the month Lynda will continue to guide you through the completion of the remainder of the pattern and how you can create your own mochilla pattern.
Material– 8 ply yarn in 3 colours (approx 25g each colour), 3 mm hook, stitch markers, purse frame 10.5cm
Suggested yarns– Scheepjes Catona, Fiddlesticks Wren
You can use your own yarn or purchase yarn in the shop.

A bit about your teacher:
Lynda learnt to crochet when she was about 8 years old. She has owned Crochet Australia for over 10 years where she has been regularly leading crochet classes and clinics. Lynda has completed her Crochet Teaching Certificate with the Craft Yarn Council of America and teaches at the Crochet Teaching Course now run by the Crochet Guild of Australia.
