Returns Policy

You must contact us prior to the return of any item. You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the price paid for the item. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). 


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

International orders - Our shopping cart does NOT calculate the freight charge - during checkout and on your order confirmation, it will be shown as $0.  We will then calculate the full shipping costs based on the actual weight of your package, during order processing in line with our freight information.

Secure Online Ordering

Our secure shopping system incorporates industry standard data encryption and is protected by the latest in hardware firewall technology. This ensures your private information is kept private throughout the payment process.  When you have finished shopping, while viewing the contents of your shopping cart proceed to the checkout to finalize your order.  Here you will be required to enter your name, delivery address, contact details and payment information.  Please create an account - this will save you having to re-enter all your name, address and email details, and will enable you to see your order history. When completed, you will be provided with a summary of your order which you may print for your records.  You will also be sent an order confirmation by email (which will only include the MINIMUM freight costs) and Crochet Australia will normally process your order as soon as possible (usually within 1 to 2 working days). 

Accepted Forms of Payment 

We accept Mastercard, Visa and Paypal from all customers - your card/account is not charged until we process the order just prior to despatch. We also accept Direct Deposit, cheque and money order from Australian customers only. Australian customers paying by money order, bank deposit or cheque will be emailed with the required payment amount and if applicable direct deposit details.  As we will not despatch your goods until payment is received, credit card payment is recommended if your order is urgent. 

We also accept bartercard payment from bartercard members - all goods may be paid with bartercard, except shipping.  If paying by bartercard please select enter your bartercard details in the comments and select pay by credit card.  The only charge that will be made to your credit card will be the shipping costs.

Please ensure you provide clear details to avoid delays.  Australian residents may enclose cheque or money order payment with mail orders - please allow for postage and handling - see freight info below.  Excess payment will result in credit note, insufficient payment will result in either invoice for balance or request for additional funds prior to despatch.
