Clever Country is now rebranded as Create Handmade
50g balls, plain colours and shaded colours and some with silver or gold metallic thread.
Approx 150 metres per ball
Drop down box provides colours in numerical order.
Most colours in the clever country range have been discontinued by the manufacturer - these are marked with a D in the colour chart and in the drop down box. We still have balls in stock, but can order no more.
Create Handmade colours are noted with BC in the colour code - and will be replacing most of the discontinued colours over time. This is the same thread as Clever Country produced by the same manufacturer.
Note 3 colours (186 Dk Turquoise, 239 Dk Jade and 4110 Dk Antique Blue are only available in Altin Basak Krose - which is the same thread with the manufacturer's label.)
See note regarding extra postage.
This quality European made thread has a beautiful sheen and a woven finish to the twist. It is suitable for a wide range of both crocheted and knitted projects ranging from simple towel tops to clothing and washes well. With our wide range of colours to choose from you should be able to satisfy most project requirements.

I would think I've been using this cotton, exclusively for a good 5 years, could be longer[years have a habit of slipping by too quickly]... I've tried other cottons but I keep coming back to it & now, I've finally seen the light & that's all I crochet with...
It's easily controlled on the hook, gives a wonderful finish & sheen... If you want a quality finished product I would recommend this yarn, hands down... Ohh & we won't go into the colours... OMGoodness they are so dreamy... I'm a Brights Candy Rainbow Girl in the colour world, Yesss & you cover all my needs...
BTW your service is Top Rate too, Thank You... <3

I have been using this cotton to crochet tote bags and I love the colors which are very vibrant. The cotton is wonderful to crochet with. Very good product to use.

It's the best crochet yarn I've ever used. There's one point to be made, however: the black is ... different. As black has to be dyed much more than any colour, this particular yarn is not as silky; and as well, the black comes off on the fingers a fair bit. Manageable, though! With that single exception, I'm a raving fan of this lovely stuff.
