A simple yet pretty lantern pattern that can be a stand alone decorative piece or a working lamp with two alternative finishes. Whether you use varigated or solid colour yarn it will make any space feel that much more desirable.  Confident beginner level.
Finished size: alternative 1 is approximately 72cm long (tip of hanging loop to bottom of tassel) x 25cm (lantern on its own measures approximately 35cm long).
Alternative 2 is approximately 42cm long (tip of hanging loop to the 10cm ring at the bottom) x 25cm wide.
