Crochet Extra – April 2023

The School Holidays have now started here in Queensland, and the rest of the country will begin soon too.  Why not get the kids, grand-kids, or other kids in your life into crochet or other yarn crafts?  It’s the perfect way to get them off the screen, improve their coordination and creativity.   It is a skill they will have for life!  If you are here on the Sunshine Coast we have lessons Tuesday afternoons 12.30 – 2.30pm.  But hurry – next week (4th) is almost booked out.  Or if you would like private lessons contact us and we can arrange a suitable time – either in person or online.

crochet bunnies from crochet australiaWith Easter just around the corner, we have chosen this as our theme this month with some gorgeous bunny patterns now available.  And of course this is the year of the Rabbit, so bunnies aren’t just limited to Easter.

We will be closed over the Easter break – Good Friday and Easter Monday.  We will however still be having the Monday night online classes on Easter Monday.

We will also be closed Tuesday 25th April for Anzac Day.

During March we had a birthday celebration at our Wednesday night classes.  Shaz and Mel both celebrated birthdaysmarch birthdays and we all got to enjoy a cake – a win all around.

Monday our April classes kick off – get ready for winter with this fabulous Crocodile stitch hooded cowl.  I know some are worried where they will find the time with the tournament also on – but you can get this cowl completed during the class time – 2 hours for 4 weeks.
