Enjoy 2 days of crochet, laughter and learning at the Hunter Valley Crochet Retreat 2024

What are we doing:  

We retreat is designed to be self-paced over the two days.  

You will be learning new techniques – from myself and Emily.  But instead of leading you all on the same project, there will be four projects available – 2 of which will be included in your kit price quoted below.  You can of course elect to get the additional 2 kits (for an additional $55) prior to the retreat or purchase these during the retreat (where they will be a higher price).  If you wish to have the additional kits, please note this in the comments and we will arrange additional invoicing.

Over the course of the two days Emily and I will be leading small 45min – 1 hour sessions to cover the various techniques that are used in each of the four projects.  Each of these sessions will be held twice so that you all have a chance of attending the ones you want/need to attend.

The projects are small to allow you to finish them and learn new techniques during the two days:

1.  Overlay Crochet mini pin cushion

2.  Amigurumi Bunny with clothing

3.  Mini Lantern

4.  Mini Hanging Organiser

What is included:  

2 day event includes:

• 2 night twin share or single accommodation (Sunday and Monday) with breakfast
• morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for 2 days
• patterns and materials for two projects
• two experienced workshop leaders to guide you through the projects you choose and lead small workshop sessions introducing new techniques.
• Monday evening dinner—two course meal*

*Sunday evening dinner is not included.

Day visitor is also available – which will include everything above except for accommodation Sunday and Monday nights and breakfast Monday and Tuesday morning.

Payments will be scheduled throughout the year as follows:

Initial deposit $150

40% due by 30 October
Balance due by 31 March

Any bookings between 27 October and 31 March will be required to pay 70% of the retreat fee and any booking after 31 March will be required to pay the full fee.  No space will be confirmed until payment is received. 

Any booking cancelled before 30 October will get a full refund of their deposit.
Any booking cancelled between 1 November and 28 February will forfeit $150 from the amounts paid.
Any booking cancelled between 1 March and 31 March will forfeit $250 from the amounts paid.  Any unpaid instalments up to this date will be considered a cancellation.  
Any booking cancelled after 31 March will forfeit $400 from the amounts paid.

Any booking cancelled after 20 April will forfeit all but $200 from the amounts paid.
