Celebrate Worldwide Crochet and Knit in Public Day 2026 by joining us for a fun-filled day learning to crochet socks!

Whether you’ve always wanted to try sock making or you’re looking for a new skill to add to your repertoire, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn in a supportive, friendly environment surrounded by fellow crocheters.

Led by Lynda, you’ll work through her brand new sock pattern from start to finish, with plenty of guidance along the way.

What’s Included

  • Lynda’s brand new sock pattern
  • 1 x ball of Opal Flair or Funny Farm 4ply sock yarn (choose your colour on the day)
  • Morning tea and lunch (please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking)

What to Bring

  • 3.5mm and 3.75mm crochet hooks
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle

Cost: $110.00 per person

Please note this workshop requires a minimum of 12 participants to proceed. Should the minimum not be reached, registrants will be notified and a full refund provided.

A bit about your teacher:  Lynda learnt to crochet when she was about 8 years old.  She has owned Crochet Australia for over 10 years where she has been regularly leading crochet classes and clinics.   Lynda has completed her Crochet Teaching Certificate with the Craft Yarn Council of America and teaches at the Crochet Teaching Course now run by the Crochet Guild of Australia.
