The patterns are accompanied by actual samples of the finished design and detailed by written instructions. The actual pages are reproduced at 77% of original size with the completed samples photographed separately and then enlarged to permit the actual stitches to be counted, the worked piece serving as a graphic diagram. The designs range from the simplest edging to elaborate motifs and dimensional work. 112 pages.
